Sometimes the best laid plans simply don't work. This was the case with my latest embroidery pattern. To tell the truth, I started digressing from what I had previously planned, and I started trying a couple of new stitches here and there ... Yep, sometimes I'm impulsive that way. Another big mistake is that my pattern is ridiculously small for bullion knots, and the granita flowers that I found in &Stitches e-zine. The first idea wast to make all the flowery decoration out of French knots but as I said before: I stitched it impulsively.
Back to the drawing board...
A veces las cosas simplemente no salen como las planeamos. Este fué el caso de mi último patrón de bordado. A decir verdad, empecé a desviarme de lo que previamente había planeado y empecé a intentar nuevas puntadas aquí y allá. Así es, algunas veces soy así de impulsiva. Otro gran error es que mi patrón es ridículamente pequeño para puntadas como el rococó y estas floresitas que encontré con el nombre de “granita” en la revista virtual & Stitches. Al principio la idea era hacer todas las florecitas con punto nudo, pero como dije antes, bordé impulsivamente. A empezar de nuevo ...

Looks good enough in the picture, but in real life the stitches were really tiny. It wasn't fun to keep stitching, I'll make it bigger I think.
