Happy International Quilting Day

I may be enjoying my new city and all that Jazz but the world doesn’t stop there. I was contacted by Pat from The Quilt Show with a  reminder that Quilting Day is just around the corner. I mean, literally!! Tomorrow March 16th is International Quilt Day!! And The Quilt Show has some amazing prizes for quilters all around the world. As their own post says it, and I quote: “They are opening up free access to over 140 of their shows from their www.thequiltshow.com  website beginning Friday, March 15, through Sunday, March 17.” There’ll be amazing prizes by well know quilting companies. The grand prize is a new Bernina 550QE sewing machine!

I suggest you take the time to go to their site www.thequiltingshow.com and try your luck at all those lovely gifts. Happy International Quilting Day!!

Aunque yo me la he pasado recorriendo nuestra nueva ciudad, el mundo sigue y seguirá girando.  Hace unos días  fui contactada por Pat de “The Quilt Show“, resulta que el Día Internacional del Quilting es literalmente mañana  16 de Marzo. The Quilt Show estará celebrando en esta ocasión con sorteos y premios increíbles para todos los/las quilters alrededor del mundo. Como dice el post de su página web (y así lo traduje  yo ;) : “A partir del viernes 15 de Marzo hasta el 17 de Marzo,  The Quilt Show (www.thequiltingshow.com), dará acceso gratuito a más de 140 [quilt] shows  disponibles en su página”. Usualmente, dichas páginas son accessible después del pago de una membrecía, pero por ser El Día Internacional del Quilting, estarán disponibles gratis.

Les sugiero que se animen y visiten estas páginas: www.thequiltingshow.com durante el fín de semana ya que en las mismas tendremos la oportunidad de ganar premios fantásticos cortesía de reconocidas companías del mundo del quilting y el patchwork.
