I've been working on this print in my little studio time. It's far from what I ambition. I keep coming back to it trying to learn something from this plate, and I still don't get it. All I feel is frustration about it. It's busy and noisy... Yet, I'm still on track: 13 of 52 weeks working steadily and re-learning the creative process.

Can you believe that we all ready went through 11 weeks of the 52 the year will yield?? And I am still trying to pick up the pace... This week I only got to print these four cookies. They keep coming to my head giving me little to no time to sketch them, so they go directly to the linoleum to be cut instead of carefully traced.
My right hand got busted this week. I think I abused it with some volleyball, gardening, and picking up my 9 year old daughter who is a tiny little girl but still heavy for that kind of maneuvers.
The good thing is that as in any Mexican town their is always a healer, shaman or what not, willing to help with ailments of the soul and the body too; I'm feeling better already!

Truly, printing these little linocuts only once is not fun, the possibilities are endless. Yet, I have no success at finding the right paper. I do know that I love Hahnemule paper in warm white which is not available in this city. I still have 8 huge sheets of it though, sooner of later I'll run out of it.
This week I printed this 'set' of cookies on Fabriano Artist 100% cotton paper. It's much better that it's 50% version. I also tried Arches, and it's not bad but it's crazy expensive around here.
I also ran a little experiment. I printed my cookies on Kona fabric 100% cotton. I couldn't print only one, so I went for a couple more.
