the tin man quilt is one that i've wanted to make forever . . . it will be fun to see yours coming along.

seeing your bit on teaching your daughter to sew brought back memories of when i was doing the same with my daughter. she was scared to death of the sewing machine but fearless regarding the iron. i always thought that it would have been nice if we could have taken a mid ground on both of those feelings . . .

How old is your daughter? My oldest, Sophia, is 12 and she has a sewing machine. She's put it aside for the moment. I guess she's not in the mood, but if she sees this post, it may get her back into it.
