Three Kitchen Fairies: A sneak peak/ Una probadita

We came home after a nice Easter break. It's kind of complicated for me to put together Easter and Fall when for a long time, Easter and Spring go hand on hand in the Northern hemisphere. Easter, as any other Holiday around here, is more (way) of a low key celebration. No fancy dressing up, no egg hunt; therefore, no Easter bunny. I spent my Easter Sunday trying to concentrate on the important things rather than on longing for it.

OK, that being said, let me show you what I've been up to. It's just a sneak peak of my next embroidery pattern. It involves cake, birdies, and a bunting.

I thought I was done with the birds and cake subject but a couple of costumers e-mailed me asking for the next birds, and cupcake pattern. Their requests made me smile, and feel flatter by their request. I simply couldn't say no.

Ya estamos en casita después de un descansito de Pascua. A decir verdad me parece un poco complicado relacionar la Pascua con el otoño cuando por los últimos años, la Pascua y la primavera han ido de la mano. La Pascua, así como cualquier otra celebración es mucho mas relajada en este lado del mundo. Sin mucha ropa elegante, no se buscan huevos de Pascua y tampoco hay conejo de Pascua. Así que este domingo me concentré en las cosas importantes para no extrañar mucho la gran celebración.

Pasando a otros temas, déjenme mostrarles en lo que he estado trabajando. En realidad les mostraré solo una probadita de mi siguiente patrón de bordado que incluye un pastel, un pajarito y unos banderines. Pensé que ya había acabado con el tema de los pasteles y los pajaritos pero un par de clientas me escribieron preguntando por el próximo patrón. Sus correos me hicieron sonreir al mismo tiempo que me hicieron sentir halagada y simplemente no pude decir no a otro patrón con este tema.

Así que estén pendientes y no se pierdan mi próximo patrón, el cual espero que ya este disponible para el fin de semana.
