Three Kitchen Fairies: Giveaway winner!!

It's taking me some effort to get to post the winner of my hexagon paper templates giveaway. We just came back from a lovely short vacation. We visited our family in Houston,TX. I personally took advantage of this trip to visit The Menil Collection, and one of the landmarks of American Modern art: The Rothko Chapel.

Me esta tomando más tiempo y esfurezo del que yo pensaba anunciar la ganadora del sorteo de hexágonos de papel. Acabamos de volver de una vacación cortita, estuvimos visitando a nuestra familia en Houston, TX. Aproveché esta vuelta para visitar la galería de arte “The Menil Collection” y otro lugar importante del arte Moderno Norteamericano: The Rothko Chapel.

This time around I went to Houston thinking of actually not buying any fabric or quilt related materials. I didn't even order any fabric. Long story short, I proved myself wrong again 'cause I couldn't resist temptation, and I came back with a little loot of fabrics.

Aunque fue difícil decidirlo, esta vez fuí a Houston con la idea de no comprar telas o cosas para quilting, ni siquiera ordené telas vía internet para recibir en Houston. Para no hacer el cuento largo les cuento que el intento fue inutil y volví a casa con un pequeño paquetito de telas.

My girls also found their little piece of heaven, we ivsited the famous cupcakery Sprinkles. To make things even better, my super allergic girl was able to eat a lovely vegan red velvet cupacake. It was quite a milestome since she never gets to eat goodies that are not made at home.

Mis hijas también encontraron un pedacito de cielo durante el paseo. Visitamos la famosa cupcake-quería “Sprinkles”. Y no solo eso, aparte de la visita, mi hija mayor pudo probar un cupcake vegetariano lo cual fue todo un logro ya que por sus alergias ella solo puede comer los pasteles especiales que hacemos en casa.
